Loan Servicing Disclosure Statement
A loan servicing disclosure statement is a document given at the time of closing from the lender informing you that they have the right to sell your mortgage loan to another party. Selling a home loan is a very common practice that will likely happen to your loan during it's financing. Consumers are often become nervous when their loan is sold as there is the fear the terms of their loan will change and they'll have a higher monthly payment.
The National Affordable Housing Act. (NAHA) was written to address these concerns. The NAHA requires those servicing your loan to disclose what the anticipated costs of servicing your home loan for the next twelve months. The act further requires the mortgage servicing company to provide a yearly statement
